Even before 1st April 2013 testing was carried out on samples of our jewellery and they were proven to comply with the migration limits established by law. Despite this we still decided to use nickel-free alloys from 1st April 2013 so that we can be absolutely certain that our jewellery does not exceed the abovementioned limits.
Since for technical reasons nickel is only present in items made with white gold, we wish to inform you that:
· We use nickel-free palladium alloys for precision cast items in white gold.
· We use alloys with a yellow base metal which is then rhodium plated, and therefore nickel free, for white gold items that are engraved and/or lasered.
